Pre-Forum Special Workshop
The Banquet and
the Myth of the Cave:
Eros and Consciousness in Plato
Led by Augusto Madalena (Brazil/Spain)

Socratic and Platonic thought have profoundly influenced philosophy, religions, art and literature.
To this day, many behaviors, attitudes, and life movements are manifested and repeated through Plato's works: The Republic and The Banquet.
In this Pre-Forum we will dance and discuss the dimension of these works, their cultural influence and the relationship with the Biocentric Principle and Biodanza.
Augusto Madalena, with his work in Biodanza, Bioart and Artistic Identity, brings a multidimensional, profound vision and a biocentric experience of human expression in its evolution.
We offer you this special workshop to learn and dance the foundations of Biocentric culture, the culture of life. A sensitive culture, interconnected with all that is alive, nourished by dance, song, and the human and living circle. Its values are imprinted in our corporeality: redeeming profound peace, valuing difference and uniqueness, enhancing creativity, expression, eros, and encounter.
A profound and fascinating journey to generate more life in your life!
Augusto Madalena is an international Biodanza teacher and Director of the School of
